Charles Allen Charitable Trust

AET PAF Pty Ltd is the Foundation's trustee and supports the founder (Charles Allen) in reviewing applications and evaluating charitable partnerships.

Eligible charities can apply for funding via an expression of interest process.

How granting decisions are made

AET administers expression of interests from charities aligned with the Foundation’s giving strategy. Applications are then considered by the founder and his family.

The Foundation is currently supporting organisations whose programs and services are aligned with the strategy’s pillars and encourages applications from organisations that:

Support professional musicians develop their career
Deliver conservation programs and raise awareness of the importance of ecological impact (especially migratory birds)
The Foundation accepts applications from eligible organisations seeking funding up to $50,000 per annum and may consider supporting multiple year funding agreements with suitable charitable partners.

Register your interest

Funding decisions are made in line with The Foundation’s giving strategy. We suggest you consider the following steps prior to contacting us directly:

  • Step 1: Identify whether or not your organisational priorities are likely to align with the Foundation’s broad goal.
  • Step 2: Register your interest by completing the expression of interest form.

Funding decisions are made annually between April and May. If your funding need is urgent, and needs to be considered outside the annual funding round, please include this in the expression of interest form.

Please note: Unfortunately, due to the number of enquiries we receive, we will only respond to expressions of interest we believe are aligned with The Foundation’s giving strategy.
